Members of the Learning Practitioners’ Association are individuals with a vested interest in learning and development practice including trainers, learning developers and training advisers who:

  • behave and operate ethically
  • undertake continuing professional development
  • are engaged in, or preparing to be engaged in, any or all aspects of the training/learning cycle irrespective of subject topic or learning delivery methodology whose recipients are outside statutory education
  • undertake the relevant commercial, legal and management requirements surrounding their learning and development activities
  • operate in various engagement model including freelance, interim and permanent contracts
  • are committed to supporting the LPA in effectively representing the learning practitioner sector and driving up standards of learning and development practic
  • are committed to and have signed a code of conduct that positions them as a professional within the learning and development community

Steve Rouse.

Steve is an experienced, creative and innovative learning designer and facilitator, with a pragmatic and learner-centred approach.

Steve is CIPD qualified, a Licentiate Fellow of ITOL, a Certified Learning Practitioner and Assessor, and has an MA in Management Learning & Leadership from Lancaster University Management School.
