Member testimonial about CLP ...

‘Like many other people running a busy training business, I found it very easy to focus on the day to day priorities and never really look at the key areas of my business and consider how they could be improved. By doing this accreditation, I was forced to review the way that I run my business. This helped me to come up with a number of action plans which have been extremely useful in driving my business forward. Having completed the accreditation in May 2009, I was very quickly able to see the financial benefit to my business following recommendation to several prospective clients and subsequently winning some substantial contracts. The accreditation has given prospective clients the proof that not only am I good at training delivery, but that I also run a sound business and have the right personal skills to provide an all round training solution and consultancy service to them. I was delighted with the support that I was given during the process and even more delighted with the extra credibility and turnover that I have gained as a direct result of becoming a Certified Learning Practitioner’.

NB After she became accredited the LPA recommended Helen to the National Trust who were looking for financial trainers. Helen beat 6 other contenders to win the work.

What others have said:

“The structure of CLP is perfect for that step away from unconscious incompetence/competence and stimulates proactive thought on both the detailed practice and the bigger picture of one's work.”

Melanie Lisney, CLP, Optimal Management Development Ltd

‘Although I have undertaken extensive research into best practice approaches to running my business, this is the first time that that this was a structured process that considered input from my clients and end users, policy and procedure and my training delivery. It has been a process that has removed a lot of my own self limiting practices and boosted my confidence by encouraging me to think out of the box about what I have to offer’.
