Visitors and LPA members alike may be interested in exciting new developments regarding the Standard and CLP.

The LPA is currently in discussion with several major companies, covering the IT, energy, retail, recruitment and transport sectors, with regard to them adopting the Standard/CLP as in-house frameworks/accreditations for their own learning practitioners and associates. Some of these discussions are at quite an advanced stage, with the companies clearly recognising the strength and validity of our frameworks and accreditations over those of our competitors, both nationally and internationally.

For reasons of commercial confidentiality, we’re unable to disclose any further details of these discussions at present, but rest assured that we will bring you more information as and when we can.

Take up of the Standard and CLP in this way will help drive forward our aim for the Standard and CLP to become the dominant frameworks for learning practice in the UK, as well as adding significant extra value both to CLP and LPA membership.

If you know of organisations that would be interested in adopting the Standard/CLP in-house, please let us know and we’ll follow it up. As mentioned in previous information, we’re prepared to pay a commission in the event of any organisation moving forward to adoption.

Steve
