SMART PHONES: SMARTER LEARNING? OR NEW TECHNOLOGY, SAME OLD PEDAGOGY?

12 January 2010

Naomi Norman, Director of Learning, Epic is hosting a free-of-charge seminar at Learning Technologies 2010 on the use of smart phones in organisational learning. 11-Jan-2010 » Training Press Releases » #LT10UK, #LAS10UK »

The seminar is titled 'Smart phones: smarter learning? Or new technology, same old pedagogy?' Epic's Director of Learning, Dr Naomi Norman, will seek the answer to this question in what promises to be an innovative seminar format for Learning Technologies: International experts in mobile learning debating the motion: This house believes that learning on smart phones is less about new technology than it is about a new approach to pedagogy. An exciting invitation to all, to download, discuss and move understanding forward.

The seminar is in two parts running at two consecutive sessions, and is part of a schedule of one-hundred and twenty free-of-charge seminars running across the Learning Technologies 2010 and Learning and Skills 2010 events on 27 and 28 January.
