THE STATE OF LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

27 June 2010

The Learning Practitioners’ Association (LPA) is conducting a major new survey into the state of learning and development.

The LPA is conducting a major new survey into the state of learning and development. The survey looks at L&D practice from four individual perspectives and welcomes contributions from:
1. Internal learning and development practitioners within non learning and development organisations.
2. Internal practitioners with learning and development organisations.
3. Freelance / independent learning and development practitioner running their own businesses.
4. Purchaser of learning and development services.

The survey is intended to find out:
• Who is involved in learning and development practice (age, experience, history, qualifications)
• What learning and development practice is being conducted (is this more or less than before and what type [management, regulatory, etc])
• How do contributors see the future of learning and development practice (either as a purchaser or as a supplier)

The LPA wants this survey to be seen as robust and authoritative and invites all practitioners involved in learning and development to contribute. Contributions to this survey, which will provide you with a valuable insight into what is happening within the industry, can be made at http://sectorstate10.surveyconsole.com . The survey takes in the region of 12 minutes to complete

The report, which will be published in the autumn will be FREE to all those that contribute offering a saving of £100. The LPA is also offering a 20% discount on all purchases made within six months of respondent contribution.
