Showcases
The Learning Practitioners' Association encourages its members to showcase their achievements and endeavours in relation to their membership of the Association. Below are a few showcases from members who have documented their thoughts and actions.
If you are a member of the Association and as a result of that membership have gained in any way that could be considered notable please feel free to put together a showcase.
Showcases should be between 500 and 1,500 words. You should suggest an issue that you had or a question you posed to yourself that required an answer or solution. Indicate your engagement with the Association and the activities that you undertook as a result. Conclude with a suggestion as to how your membership of the Association was central to the benefit you gained or the activity you performed.
Questions you could ask yourself are:
- What was the obstacle that you were facing that you felt engagement with the Association could help with?
- What was your objective for engagement with the Association?
- What happened as a result of your engagement with the Association?
- What did you like most about your engagement?
- What would be three other benefits about this engagement?
- Would you recommend this product? If so, why?
- Is there anything you’d like to add?
And your engagement need not be restrictive. Would you like to showcase:
- how you have included your TrainerBase profile as a core part of your marketing strategy
- a contract you have won as a result of your membership
- how you have developed professionally as a result of your engagement with the Association
- a regional group that you have set up and the activities and support this has provided members
Forward your showcases to info[at]learningpractitioners.org.uk and include a separate photograph as a jpeg file and we will consider their inclusion.
